ZONING OFFICER'S REPORT
April 7, 1969
I. Four zoning -permits were issued during the month of March for the
amount of $,200 of estimated construction cost. Two of these permits
were for construction of new houses.
II. Complaints were received about parking and the condition of the property
at 505 Wyckoff Road owned by Mrs. Louis Herman. The property was
investigated and a letter was written to Mrs. Herman that she was in
violation of the zoning ordinances requiring a sufficient number of
off - street parking places and that these must be set back at least
30 feet from the Village road right of way.
III. It is recommended that the present schedule of charges for zoning
permits be reviewed with the idea of increasing the required fees.
The present schedule was established prior to 1963 and is as follows:
Estimated construction costs under $50,000 - fee $5.00
Estimated construction costs $50- 100,000 - fee $10,00
Estimated construction costs over $100,000 - fee $20.00
It is recommended that these fees be doubled.
