For the month of March there were a total of 98 complaints reported to the police department and 11 motor

During March there were no felony complaints. There were eleven misdemeanors reported: three for
Issuing Bad Checks, seven for Petit Larceny and one for Criminal Mischief. Two of the bad check cases
have been resolved with the restitution paid in full. Three of the larcenies were the reports that evergreen
trees had been cut and removed from the homeowners' property. Two of the larcenies were the theft of
Christmas tree lights taken from the homeowners' fences. All five of these thefts occurred over the same
time period. Cornell University Fratemity and Affairs were notified of these complaints in case they
received any reports of the same activity happening. A resident reported that the light from the pole at the
end of his driveway had been removed. The final larceny was reported when a subject pumped gasoline
into his vehicle and left without paying. The person responsible was not located. The criminal mischief
case was the report of a driveway light damaged by an unknown person. There were eight violations
reported during the month of March: seven for Disorderly Conduct and one for Unlawful Trespass. Three
of the disorderly conduct complaints were reports of loud music being played. In all cases the persons
responsible were contacted and there were no further problems. Two of the complaints dealt with loud
parties. In both incidents the persons bolding the party were advised that the party was over. With one of
the complaints, there was also a parking problem. Numerous vehicles were issued parking tickets and one
vehicle was towed. A business owner reported that some patrons had refused to pay the bill and were loud
