There were a total of 113 traffic tickets issued and 7 parking tickets written. During November there were two felony complaints: one for Grand Larceny and one for Grand Larceny of an Automobile. The Grand Larceny was the report of a laptop computer missing from a residence. The investigation is still continuing. A resident's vehicle was stolen during the overnight while it was parked in her driveway. The vehicle had been unlocked with the key in the ashtray. As of November 30i6, the vehicle was still missing. There were nine misdemeanors reported to this department: two for Issuing Bad Checks, six for Petit Larceny and one for Aggravated Harassment. Both bad check cases are still active but should be resolved shortly. Four of the larcenies reported were thefts from unlocked parked vehicles. In all cases loose change was taken and in one instance a ski jacket was stolen. One larceny was reported by a subject who stated that she had left her camera and a pair of jeans in a friend's room while attending a party in the fraternity. When she went to retrieve her belongings, they were gone. The final larceny was the report of an item missing from the Village DPW Bam. The circumstances concerning the item were resolved and the incident closed. The aggravated harassment complaint was the report of numerous no answer phone calls being received. The complainant was advised of the "57 method to trace the calls and to keep track of the date and times of anymore received. There were three violations reported during the month: two for Disorderly Conduct and one for Unlawful Possession of Fireworks. Both of the disorderly conducts concerned the playing of loud music. The persons responsible were advised of the complaints and no further action was needed by this department. A resident had set off fireworks in celebration of a birthday party. After being advised that possessing and setting off fireworks is illegal and that he could be arrested, the resident agreed that it would not happen again. There were two Vehicle and Traffic complaints for the month, both dealing with miscellaneous infractions. There were seventy-one miscellaneous complaints handled by this department for the month of November. During the November, the officers spend one day at the range for firearm training and qualifications. Officer Lanning attended a one day class in Rochester for terminal agency coordinator training for our secure services. The full time officers worked 77.5 ]yours of overtime and the part-time officers worked 181 hours during November.
