Anderson Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJECT: Report of the Police Department for March 1990 he Police Department handled 62 complaints and investigated 6 :motor vehicle accidents during the month. There were 113 traffic tickets issued and 51 parking tickets issued during the month. There were two felony complaints: One for burglary and one for attempted burglary. There were eighteen misdemeanor complaints: for petit larceny, three for criminal mischief, three for �•'; aggravated harassment, one for bad check and one for unlawfully dealing with a child. There were forty -three miscellaneous complaints investigated by the Police Department. �. ±•,;.Two males, ages 25 and 31, were arrested for driving while '•;,.intoxicated. A 22 year old male was charged with unlawfully ,, dealing with a child. A 19 year old was arrested for violation of the Alcohol Beverage Control Law for possession of alcohol under 21. He was also charged with consumption of alcohol in a '..' motor vehicle. A 20 year old male was arrested on a Village F. Court Bench Warrant for violation of probation. Sgt. Lansing has completedlthe 120 hour course which now certifies him as a N.Y.S. DARE instructor. This course was held in Saratoga N.Y. and was sponsored by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services. . There was a total of $1,455.00 in property reported lost or stolen during the month and $305.00 was recovered by the Police Department.
