SUBJECT: Report of the Police Department for April 1990
The Police Department handled 69 complaints and investigated 8
motor vehicle accidents during the month. There were 88 traffic
tickets issued and 52 parking tickets issued during the month.
There were no felony complaints reported this month. There were
fifteen misdemeanor complaints: four for criminal mischief, two
for aggravated harassment, two for petit larceny, one for bad
check, one for criminal impersonation, one for criminal possession
of stolen property and four for violations of the alcohol beverage
control law. There were fifty -four miscellaneous complaints
investigated by the Police Department.
The following arrests were recorded for the month: Possession of
Alcohol under 21 years of age, three people ages 19, 19 and 20. A
19 year old male was arrested for criminal mischief. An 18 year old
male was arrested for criminal mischief, resisting arrest and
disorderly conduct. A 19 year old male was arrested for
consumption of alcohol under 21 years of age and was later charged
with criminal impersonation. One 27 year old male was charged
with criminal impersonation-W. One 19 year old male was charged
with disorderly conduct. One person was arrested on a Village
Bench Warrant for failure to appear in court for a vehicle and
traffic violation.
Officers Day and Boyce completed a "Street Survival" School in
Rochester, N.Y. All officers received radar re -train by the
State which extends their radar certificates for a period of
four years. The Cayuga Heights police Department was the host
agency for this recertification.
There was a total of $314.00 in property reported lost or stolen
during the month and $164.00 was recovered by the Police Department.
The full time officers worked 31'hours overtime during the month
and the part -time officers worked 94 hours.
