CHPBA agrees to switch health care plans to the '|CCOG Consortium Group Health Insuranoe plan as soon as practical; Eftbctive June 1 ,2015, and June 1,2016, the CHPBA will receive an 1 .5o/owage increase for patrolman, and a0o/o increase for the Sergeant. Effective June 1, 2014 to May 3 1,2015 all current employees will make a 7.5o/o contribution of the health insurance premium for the ooverage selected on a bi-weekly basis deducted from payroll. Effective June 1, 2015 to May 37,2016, all curent employees will make a 10olo contribution of the health insurance premium for the coverage selected on a bi-weekly basis deducted from payroll. Effective June 1, 2016 to May 3 I,2017 , all current employees will make a 12.5% contribution of the health insurance premium for the coverage selected on a bi-weekly basis deducted fiom payroll.. d. The insurance contributions shall be run through and IRS 125 Plan. At no time shall an employee total amount they contribute increase more than 10% ofthe previous year. The CHPBA does not waive or transfer any of its Taylor rights to the Consortium, it agents, assigns or members. The village's annual contribution to the CHPBA Health and Wellare fund will be increased as follows. June 1,2014to $1200.00 June 1 ,2015 to $ 1400.00 June 1. 2016 to $1600.00 For all new employees hired after the agreement is reached, the retiree health insurance provisions of the agreement will not apply (12.14,12.15,12.16). Instead, at retirement an employee may return all of his/her accumulated sick leave-compensatory time-vacation time to the Village for the purpose of obtaining health insurance coverage during retirement. Each day (B hours) of leave time returned to the Village will entitle the employee to one (i) month of health insurance coverage. Employees who do not elect this insurance coverage may cash out unused sick time in exoess of 680 hours. a. Credited benefit hours will subtracted in the tbllowins order: i. Compensatory time ii. Vacation time iii. Sick leave If; after retirement an employee dies prior to the exhaustion of their accumulated benefit time, their spouse will have the option to continue receiving the health insurance pursuant to this section (until tirne is exhausted), or By written request, cash out any remaining benefit time the employee might have credited. i. Cash out remaining hours will be governed by the sections of this agreement as if the employee was retiring. (6a above) 8. The Village will inform the AAA that the arbitration proceeding can be cancelled, the CHPBA will withdraw the Improper Practice charge filed with PERB, and any appeal/arbitration from the Stage 2 Grievance will be dropped.
