RE: February 2012 Report
February has been a relatively quiet month. The majority of the traffic in the office
continues to be to purchase garbage tags and or have items notarized and residents
wishing to speak with the Superintendent of Public Works.
The office continues to track phone calls coming in from Village residents. The majority
of the calls have been forwarded to the Superintendent of Public Works, with other
related calls regarding deer remediation questions, what the dates are for supplied
services. Several visitors have asked for absentee ballots and were directed to the
Board of Elections located at 128 E Buffalo Street.
There was one FOIL requests for the month of February.
The office sent two major mailings to all the Residents in the Village, creating
controversy. These mailings may also be viewed on our web site.
The office continues to be compliant with the Open Meeting rules with the edits to the
Village website. Please review the site at your convenience; suggestions are welcome.
Treasurer Mangione, Deputy Clerk Podufalski and I have been working diligently toward
bringing the accounting records to be current within the new Williamson accounting
system. By the writing of this memo, the Department Heads should have received their
current budget balances to aid them with their next year’s budget.
The NYCOM conference will be September 10-14, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza in Lake
Placid.
