1. Financial Report – The financial report for May 2011 has been completed and is
attached (filename “financialreport-may2011”). The monthly report shows all
activity for May and reflects the year end budget revisions to close the fiscal year
ended May 31, 2011. The Annual Financial Report Update Document (AUD) for
the fiscal year ended May 31, 2011 has been completed and was filed with the
Office of the State Comptroller on September 26, 2011. The AUD is attached
(filename “Annual Update Document with Footnotes for FYE 2011”). We have
received an engagement letter from Ciaschi, Dietershagen, Little, Mickelson &
Company, LLP to complete the audit of the Village financial statements for the
fiscal year ended May 31, 2011 at a cost not to exceed $8,400. The engagement
letter is attached (filename “CDLM Audit Engagement for FYE 2011”).
2. Abstract – The abstract and supplemental abstract for this meeting are attached
(filenames “abstract-october2011” and “abstract-october2011-supp”).
3. Bonding – There was no activity this month.
4. Budget – The final budget revisions for the fiscal year ended May 31, 2011 were
determined as part of the year end closing process. Summaries of the budget
revisions for revenues and expenses are attached (filenames “Budget Revisions
for FYE 2011 – Revenues” and “Budget Revisions for FYE 2011 – Expenses”).
5. Transfers – (Resolution Required)
RESOLVED to approve budget transfers to close the fiscal year ended
May 31, 2011 as outlined in the attached documents: “Budget Revisions
for FYE 2011 – Revenues” and “Budget Revisions for FYE 2011 –
Expenses”.
6. Approval of Abstracts – (Resolution Required)
RESOLVED to approve the Abstract of Audited Vouchers dated October
11, 2011 in the amount of $151,811.26 and the Supplemental Abstract of
Audited Vouchers dated October 11, 2011 in the amount of $925.23 and
instruct that the Treasurer make payments thereon.
7. Approval of Auditor – (Resolution Required)
RESOLVED to approve Ciaschi, Dietershagen, Little, Mickelson &
Company, LLP to complete the audit of the Village financial statements
for the fiscal year ended May 31, 2011 at a cost not to exceed $8,400.
