"accompanying CD wlrich contains images of fences that are both in conilpliance withthe current ordinance and which are not. I hope you will review these imlqes anddecide which you think best s;erve the aesthetic needs of the Village.,'
I was unable to send you this CD but am now attaching a pdf of a short power-point prqsentation showinq
how aesthetically pleasing property line fences can be. Many of these images are of clyuga Heights
properties. others are not, I think they show very clearly that property line deer fencing will not destroy
the park like atmosphere of the Villiage. Rather they will help maintain the Village as we know it today. I
had intended to include images of hedges and deer browsed vegetation to show you how acceptable a
good looking fence is
As you listen to Villages who come to speak about the Fencing Ordinance please keep these images in
mind. The Village has changed ovc'r the years. 50 years ago most properties had views of Cayuga
Lake. Since then trees have grown and views have been lost. Houses have been built and there is very
little parkland left' Please illso remember that the purpose of this proposed new ordinance is "specifically
to protect the health, safety', and werlfare of Village residents and their property from injury and damage
due to deer population growth withirr the Village.',
