Director and Treasurer
Served as a member of the Board of Directors for a co-operative residential apartment building
with 12 employees and a two-million dollar annual budget. Responsibilities included overseeing
the maintenance of the building and grounds, interviewing and selecting contractors through a
multiple bid process, authorizing contracts and payments, overseeing the budget process,
reviewing the annual financial report, resolving resident and staff issues, and reviewing financial
information of and interviewing prospective residents.

Consulted for small to medium-sized companies on all pension-related issues. Assisted clients in
the design of retirement programs to meet their goals and comply with US pension regulations.
Responsibilities included preparing actuarial/annual valuations, Internal Revenue Service returns
(Form 5500), and retirement benefit calculations for both defined benefit and defined contribution
plans. Prepared financial reports according to Financial Accounting Standards Board statements
