Passed LL #6 re-enacting the moratorium on fence enforcement TCCOG Health Consortium – authorized the pre-payment of premium for the purpose of pro rata share of total reserves in the amount of $33,405 from our reserve fund to the Tompkins County Municipal Health Insurance Consortium. Discussion on fencing – to move forward, the board needs to tell the PB how they would like to proceed, the PB should, with the advice of attorney, draft an ordinance taking the board’s suggestions into play, the board should hold an public hearing on the ordinance, then the board will pass the local law. The board will meet jointly with the PB to advance this discussion on Monday, July 21 at 7pm. Change July Board Meeting date from Monday, July 12 to Monday July 19 due to vacation schedules. Pegasys budget was passed by the board. Jane Powers was appointed as Village’s rep to Youth Services Board for 2010-2011. Mayor will call Frank Proto to discuss TCAT issue. Board should keep “playing nice” for now, but probably pass a resolution soon. Accepted $10,000 gift from Triad Foundation to CHFD. Discussion about an AED in Marcham Hall. Will discuss further. Hire Hannah Wingate for project assistant for Brent during the Summer. Presentation of Annual Stormwater Report to Clerk for advertising. Discussion of 825 Hanshaw Road – paint vs siding. Passed resolution to hire Beaver Dam to paint 825 Hanshaw for $4500 and replace posts on front porch for $450 – Total nte $6000. Discussion on Kendal crosswalk. Traffic consultant cost is $3900. Do we really need one? Approve purchase of 2010 Ford Expedition for Police Dept. Approve hire of Lindsay Whitcombe as part time Clerk for Police Dept. for one day/week. Authorize the transfer of #125 (2007 Dodge Durango) to Police Chief in place of #126 (2006 Dodge Durango), which will be advertised for sale at a later time. Authorize consignment of 3 mini-14 Rugers to Camo Hut who will sell them for the Village at a price of $450/gun rather than a trade-in for $350/gun. Everyone should track the time spent on FOIL requests. Resolution was passed that the Board should formally ask the Planning Board with the attorney’s assistance to amend Article IX, Section 2, of the Village Zoning Ordinance to better define the terms used. Sign Ordinance – Diana will ask the PB to start looking at the sign ordinance over the summer. Diana will also ask Martin if he wants a formal resolution to do this. nm
