Hello,
As a resident of Cayuga Heights, I am writing to express my dismay and opposition to the
proposed Net and Bolt solution regarding the deer in Cayuga Heights. I implore the mayor
and board to continue considering more humane options -- sterilization, fence building and
even allowing hunters, perhaps experienced bow hunters, into the area to thin the herd --
in their search for answers to this complicated question. From what I have read about it,
Net and Bolt seems especially cruel and draconian.
If the deer are exterminated, I do hope a way will be found to distribute the venison to
the needy in our community.
