Dear Kate Supron, Mayor,l
I am completely shocked that your community is planning to engage in"net and
bolt'practice in order to slaughter deer. This is an illegal practice and has been declared
inhumane by veterinarians and animal rights organizations. I live in a neighborhood
where deer do roam freely through woods and backyards. They are gentle creatures that
eat only plants and they deserve to be treated in a humane way. I am writing to protest
your community being allowed to break the law and behave in such a savage manner.
I can only hope that the people of your community choose to obey the law and behave
in a way that does not inflict fear and abuse on the deer population.
