CHFD CALLED VIA 911 FOR REPORT OF SMELL OF GAS IN STRUCTURE.202 RESPONDED IMMEDIATELY AND EMERGENTLY.UPON
ARRIVAL MET WITH THE OCCUPANT OF THE STRUCTURE,FATHER MARCOUX,WHO INFORMED US THAT OCCUPANTS HAD NOTICE A
SMELL OF GAS WHILE IN A CERTAIN ROOM'OF THE STRUCTURE.HE BELIEVES THAT THE SOURCE MAY BE THE HEATING UNIT THA IS
AT THE REAR OF THE STRUCTURE.CREW SENT INTO THE STRUCTURE TO ASSESS THERE AND CREW SENT TO THE REAR OF THE
STRUCTURE TO ASSESS THE POTENTIAL SOURCE.BUILDING HAS ALREADY BEEN NATURALLY VENTILATED PRIOR TO FD ARRIVAL.
NO OBVIOUS LEAKS OR SOURCES FOUND NOTHING REGISTERED ON GAS DETECTOR INSIDE OR OUT.NO COMPLAINTS OF SYMPT MS
REPORTED BY ANYONE.OCCUPANT ADVISED OF FINDINGS AND CONCURS THAT HE DOES NOT SMELL ANYTHING AT THIS TIME.
ADVISED OCCUPANT THAT IT UNIT BUT UNSURE OF ACTUAL CAUSE.AND T
IF HE OR ANYONE ELSE SMELLED IT TO CALL BAVE BEEN ACK AND D WOULD RETURN.HEALFUCNTION WITH THEI NG WAS RECEPTIVE AND APPRECIATIVE.CHFD UNIT T
RETURNED TO SERVICE.

Dispatched by TC911 to working dryer fire. 202,231 responded. 2418 on scene prior to CHFD unit arrival reporting working dryer fire,
successful knock down with dry chem extinguisher. 202 crew assisted with final extinguishment,checked for extension,overhauled the
dryer unit,and ventilated the residence. Occupant reports that the dryer unit was recently serviced for lint build-up within the dryer.
Occupant reports that she returned from short walk,noticed smoke in her residence,states top plastic portion of the dryer was on fire,
occupant noted clothing did not appear to be buming/bumt upon her visual assessment of dryer fire. Occupant exited the building and
pulled the fire alarm. Extension limited to moderate ceiling charring directly above dryer unit.Clearance to ceiling approximately 6 inches.
Moderate smoke condition present in entire 2 story unit. CHFD units returned in service,scene command transferred to Cornell University
2418.

Resident showed up at the station reporting that she had a small fire in the garage today and was worried that there was still fire in the
garage. Units responded to scene to find that she actually was grilling in tier garage and was worried that the smoke had caused a fire.
No fire found. Units cleared scene.

Dispatched by TC911 for fire alarm activation. 202,261 responded to scene. System showing zone 5 alarm. Malfunctioning heads
located on 3rd floor,no smoke or fire. Both reset and hard reset not successful. Alarm system powered down,house president advised
to have system serviced ASAP. Residents advised that they have no alram system and are currently on fire watch. CHFD units cleared.

MISSING SINCE YESTERDAY.DUE TO PREVIOUS CALLS ELECTRICIAN HAD BEEN NOTIFIED AND CAME AND REMOVED HEAD THAT 10 S
CAUSING SYSTEM TO ALARM.PER OCCUPANTS OF HOUSE THE ELECTRICIAN DID NOT HAVE REPLACEMENT FOR THE ALARM HEA
AND JUST LEFT THE HEAD OFF WHICH IS CAUSING THE ALARM PANEL AT ALERT FOR TROUBLE.OCCUPANTS OF THE HOUSE CALLED
911 VIA PHONE AND REQUESTED FIRE DEPARTMENT.RESIDENCE ADVISED TO CALL ELECTRICIAN OR ALARM COMPANY TO HAVE
HEAD REPLACED OR THE TROUBLE ALARM WOULD CONTINUE TO SOUND.NO SMOKE OR FIRE OR ACTIVE ALARMS SHOWING ON T iE
PANEL AT THIS TIME.

Called for odor of gas and problem with furnace. Responded to scene. Residents state smell of gas in basement. Used multi gas
detector In entire house and got no reading for flammable gas or CO. Furnace appears to be funtioning normally. Had difficulty reseting
pull station due to its age. Removed pull station from wall and spliced wire together and got reset to hold. No activated smoke or heat
heads and no residents have any medical problems. System reset and CHFD units cleared.
