Report of Ass’t Supt. of Public Works – Report on file – 5 minutes Report of Superintendent of Public Works – 10 minutes Action: Authorize Mayor to sign change order #1 on the contract with Chicago Construction in the amount of $968 for misc. “cut/cap” on existing main. Report of Police Chief – Report on file – 10 minutes Introduction of Lisa Withrow, new Police Clerk Report on time management of full time and part time Police Officers Report of Fire Superintendent – Report on file – 5 minutes Report of the Mayor - 10 minutes Public Hearing Details Trustee Privilege of the Floor Resolution for purchase of Newman papers – Trustee Szekely Action: Whereas the Village of Cayuga Heights was founded by Jared Newman, along with Charles Blood, and; Whereas recently a collection of personal papers of Mr. Newman has been recently discovered and; Whereas Cornell University maintains a collection of nearly 40 boxes of materials relating to Jared Newman and; Whereas making these papers publically available would enrich the knowledge of the history of the Village of Cayuga Heights, it is hereby resolved to purchase one half of this collection at a cost not-to-exceed $1,750, and to make said collection available to the public through Cornell University, which has agreed to acquire the remaining portion.
