Our budget of $600 allowed Tim to do the reformatting at a cost of $560. Corrections have also been submitted by Brent, Glenn, Tom and George, with relevant additions such as links to permit forms/information, etc. The site will continue to be hosted by the Village, allowing access for updates to be made by Tim at $80/hour. These updates, prepared by Norma, may take 15-20 minutes in a normal month if we take the time to make all necessary preparations now. 2 -We have also prepared a list of things to be added in the future, such as: - a Google map with Village boundaries - handsome village photos to be taken in the spring - a photo of the mayor - links to TCAT - links to other municipalities 3 -Norma & Elizabeth are now requesting that we ask Tim Kessler to maintain and update this site at a fee of $80/hour, an amount that would need to be reflected in this next budget. It will allow him to add such things as the following: - The Courier - 3 times a year; - Police reports – once a month - Public hearings – as needed, in the same way they are advertised in The Journal by the Village Clerk - Minutes – once a month - Emergency notices – as needed, currently gives to the radio stations by the Village Clerk. Etc. We propose that all submissions go directly through Norma; anything she is unsure about will go to the mayor for a second opinion. Norma will also be trained to do minimal upkeep if necessary. Please note that this is ALL our committee is proposing; it does not address the issue of hosting an email list.
