Wright 7:35 pm Call to order 7:30-7:35 Roll call 7:35-7:40 Announcements  Ms. Thomas announced that the Town Board had passed a resolution confirming the term length of all Ag Committee Members  A general review of the neighbor meeting with Mr. Gates was discussed  A short conversation regarding resolution content and the request from Michelle Wright to specify within the content of the resolution who the intended audience and explicitly stating if the resolution or memo should be forwarded. 7:40-7:45 Approval of draft minutes from last meeting BE IT RESOLVED that the Ulysses Ag Committee approve the minutes of May 26th, 2016 Moved: Mr. Wertis Second: Mr. Chang Cail AYE Chang AYE Gates AYE Reynolds AYE Wertis AYE BE IT RESOLVED that the Ulysses Ag Committee approve the minutes of June 9th, 2016 Moved: Mr. Reynolds Second: Mr. Chang Cail AYE Chang AYE Gates AYE Reynolds AYE Wertis AYE Open issues 7:45-8:25 Review of Responses to the points in Steering Committee Minutes 4/7  Discussion of content of response, details within the edits of the responses. 8:30-8:45 Review of Land Use Maps  THIS TOPIC WAS TABLED 8:45-9:00 discussion of dispersing information to farmers and landowners via postcards and other methods  General discussion of post card mailing content and other forms of communication New business 9:00-15 Discussion of Ag Committee Role in addressing Neighbor/Farm relations and complaints  Conversation on precedence setting and particulars of the situation.  Mr. Reynolds suggested that he would a draft resolution that outlines the Ag Committee’s position when it comes to complaints regarding agriculture. 9:15-9:30 Discussion for the plan of work for future meetings  Discussion of the frequency of meetings and future topics  Ms. Cail stated that the mapping work is targeted by be complete by the end of summer  Possible committee work: model solar ordinances Mr. Chang made the motion that the Ag Committee should meet once a month.
