Rich will serve through Dec. 31, 2026. He is also on the Nov. 3 General Election ballot as a candidate to fill the remainder of Tom Knipe's term (Jan. 1, 2026- Dec. 31, 2028). Infected mammals can transmit rabies virus to humans and other mammals. Rabies is almost always fatal once symptoms appear. Pet vaccination is key to keeping your pets and your family protected from rabies. New York State requires all cats, dogs, and ferrets to have their first rabies vaccination between 3 and 4 months of age. Tompkins Countv Whole Health holds rabies clinics throughout the year to ensure you are able to keep your pets protected. In addition to TCAT staff who will be on hand to discuss the bus transit network, representatives from eRide Ithaca are planning to attend two of three sessions, Wed., Aug. 19 and Sat., Aug. 29. Launched June 1, eRide Ithaca is a pilot program providing affordable curb -to -curb rides with a fleet of electric vans and cars. Operated by TCAT, eRide Ithaca serves residents of West Hill, West End, and areas of the Ithaca Flats, connecting them to jobs, healthcare, education, shopping, and other essential and recreational destinations.
