A regular meeting of the Town Board of Ulysses was held at the Town
Office Building for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the
proposed changes in the Zoning Ordinance for the Town Of Ulysses,
and to transact necessary business .
Members present were; Mr. Bower,Supervisor; Messrs. Crumb and Rice,
Justices of the Peace; Messers. Ellis and Thomas,Councilmen; Mr.
Newman,Attorney;Messrs . Murray and Stover,Accessors;and Alice B.
Conover,Town elerk.
The Notice that was published in the Free Press on Proposed changes
in Zoning Ordinaces for Town of Ulysses was read by the Town Clerk,
after which Mr. Bower turned the meeting over to Mr. Fellows.
Mr. Donald Greet from the Ithaca Journal was present also Mr. Proskine
and several other people from Jacksonville.
Mr. Fellows read the changes in the different paragraphs and asked
and answered a great many questions which were brought up regarding
Trailers. After a lengthy discussion the hearing was elosed.
Minutes of the meeting held Nov. 1st, were read and corrected, the
word amended instead of originally adopted as the annual budget.
It was moved by Mr. Rice and seconded by Mr. Thomas, that they be
approved as corrected. Careied.
Mr. Crumb reported that a man by the mane of Arthur Miller who was -
out of work would like to have charge of the dump there in Jackson-
ville, he would give $15 per month, It was moved by Mr. Crumb and
seconded by Mr. Rice to let him try it .
A motion by Mr. Crumb and seconded by Mr. Rice that the amendments
on the Zoning Ordinance be adopted by the Town Board. Carried.
The gyestien of maps and zoning ordinance books was brought up and
how much the cost, and the clerk was to see if she could find the
information.
Bills Nos. 116-148 were read. Moved by Mr. Rice and seconded by Mr.
Thomas that the bills be audited as claimed.

Additon to above minutes, Upon request of Mr. Bower, motion was made
by Mr. Thomas and seconded by Mr. Crumb, that Mr. Bower be authorized '
to pay the officers Dec. 20th. Carried. Meeting for auditing the
Books was set for Dec. 31st. at 10:30 a.m.
