Tonight's Town Board meeting has been cancelled. See message from Town Supervisor Olson below:
This past weekend, our Ulysses government family experienced a tragedy. The house of one of our
board members was tragically destroyed in a fire. Thankfully, no one was injured, but this type of
loss is significant and devastating. I extend my gratitude to the Trumansburg, Mecklenburg, Enfield,
and Interlaken volunteer fire departments, as well as the Tompkins County Sheriff's Department
and Town Code and New York State Fire, for their support throughout this process. My thoughts
are with all of those impacted by this tragedy.
Due to previously arranged travel schedules for a member planning to attend remotely, and given
the reverberations of the fire, the Town Board meeting scheduled for tonight, July 28th, is being
cancelled for lack of quorum. Any public hearing comments already submitted will be duly
included in future scheduled public hearings.
The Town Board will reconvene on August 11 at 7pm. For additional information, please
