Vice Chair Elizabeth Weatherby called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm at the Town Hall.
Approval of Agenda
Motion: Meador motioned to approve the agenda; Klankowski seconded.

Approval of Past Minutes
Motion: Klein motioned to table approval of the June meeting minutes; Marino seconded.

Motion: Klein motioned to close privilege of the floor; Klankowski seconded.

Old Business Items
A. Review Drafts of the Housing Element, Historic Preservation & Built Environment Element,
Economic Development Element, Environment & Natural Resources Element, and Climate
Change & Resiliency Element
The committee discussed improvements to each chapter.
Discussion ensued over industry. Klein noted lack of water and sewer availability presents few options
for industrial developments. Marino noted survey responses indicate a lack of interest in this area.
White extended the deadline for committee members to submit additional comments on Transportation
and Community Wellbeing chapters until July 18.
White asked for feedback on formatting.
Marino spoke about existing resources such as maps and clarifying sources of data.
Discussion ensued over maps.
Cohen spoke about reuse infrastructure relating to climate resiliency, explaining that a facility such as
this could be utilized in the event of climate disaster recovery. Cohen stated that New York State is
beginning to invest in developing this infrastructure.
The committee spoke about the timeline of releasing drafts to the public before the open house in fall.
