Happy Friday, Ulysses!
Please note that the Town Hall parking lot renovation has begun and the lot (and EV charger) is closed to
all traffic. If you are coming to see us, please use the Village parking lot across the street (we do not own
the lot on the north side of the building). If you have mobility issues and this is tricky for you, please give
us a call at (607)387-5767 and we'll do our best to assist you. The project will likely last about 3 weeks.
Thanks in advance for your patience.

UPDATE FROM TOWN SUPERVISOR OLSON:
Greetings, Ulyssians!
Dare I say ..... happy spring?! (Shhhhhh, I'm not trying to jinx anything, so I'll just whisper it, just in case
winter is still listening.)
In Town news, our long-awaited parking lot reconstruction project is underway. For the next couple
weeks, visitors to Town Hall will need to park across the street in the Village's public parking lot. Thanks
for your patience!
The Town Board will reconvene next Tuesday at 7pm. We will reopen the public hearing on the potential
park donation, an as a reminder you can check out lots of information about it here. The public is
welcome to submit comments in person or by emailing a letter to clerk townofulyssesnygov.
The Town Board will also be getting a presentation on the Agard Road culvert, as well as reviewing the
grant contract we received to rehabilitate the Maplewood Culvert.
Safe, functional infrastructure is critical in order to protect the safety and welfare of Town residents and
visitors. In total, the Town has raised about $2.7 million in grant funds in the last 3 years to replace or
rehabilitate critical Town infrastructure, including the Curry Road bridge, the Maplewood Road culvert,
and the Garrett Road culvert. We also completed a grant in 2024 to assess the Town's 6 most

endangered culverts (i.e. mini bridges), and the Agard Road culvert is identified as the next most critical
one to address. The presentation at the Town Board meeting will cover what steps are needed to apply
for funding to replace or rehabilitate the Agard Road culvert.
