Approval of Agenda Additions to the agenda included an update about results from the ongoing community survey and scheduling for focus group 4. The Existing Conditions Report review is postponed until the March meeting. Motion: Weatherby motioned to approve the amended agenda; Klein seconded. Vote: Chair DiPetta, aye; Marino, aye; Klein, aye; Weatherby, aye; Cohen, aye. Motion Carried. Approval of Past Minutes Motion: Klein motioned to approve the January 8 meeting minutes; Weatherby seconded. Vote: Chair DiPetta, aye; Marino, aye; Klein, aye; Weatherby, aye; Cohen, aye. Motion Carried. Privilege of the Floor No members of the public addressed the committee. Motion: Klein motioned to close privilege of the floor; Weatherby seconded. Vote: Chair DiPetta, aye; Marino, aye; Klein, aye; Weatherby, aye; Cohen, aye. Motion Carried. New Business Items Angelina White spoke about survey results received so far. Answers indicate that residents are focused on topics including water and sewer infrastructure, maintaining a small-town feel, and improving youth and community engagement. The survey is still available to take online. Review Draft Vision Statement The committee reviewed different drafts of the vision statement for the comp plan. Focus Group #4 The focus group will discuss rural issues and land use with local stakeholders and is scheduled for Monday March 3.
