TALK ON US ENERGY POLICY AND GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE:
Town of Ulysses resident Dr. Robert Howarth was a US representative to the World Economic Summit in Davos, Switzerland earlier this year. He
is an expert on energy sources and their contributions to climate change, and provides data -driven counterpoints to oil and gas lobby claims
about "clean" energy. Howarth's work has been cited more than 75,000 times, making him one of the 100 most -cited environmental scientists
globally. He was one of "50 People Who Matter" in Time magazine's 2011 Person of the Year issue.
Come hear how policies designed to mitigate carbon emissions may not reduce global warming and learn what we can do as individuals and as
a community to help our planet at 7pm on Tues., March 4 at 69 East Main St., Trumansburg.
