Approval of Agenda Motion: Klein motioned to approve the agenda; Klankowski seconded. Vote: Klankowski, aye; Klein, aye; Marino, aye; Olson, aye; Basilius, aye; Chair DiPetta, aye; and Weatherby, aye. Motion Carried. Approval of Past Minutes Marino added clarifying details about the discussions from the October 1 meeting pertaining to the generic EIS. Motion: Klein motioned to approve the October 1 meeting minutes as amended; Klankowski seconded. Vote: Klankowski, aye; Klein, aye; Marino, aye; Olson, aye; Basilius, aye; Chair DiPetta, aye; and Weatherby, abstain. Motion Carried. Privilege of the Floor No members of the public addressed the committee. Old Business Items Results of Focus Group #1: Economic Development, Historic Presentation/Built Environment, and Housing Angelina White provided a summary of the first focus group meeting. Strengths and weaknesses for each topic were discussed with focus group attendees, and a memo summarizing the discussions was distributed prior to tonight’s meeting. Results of Local Leadership Interviews White summarized the brief interviews that were held with Town department heads. Marino mentioned that discussions from the focus group emphasized that large-scale economic development may not be well-suited for Ulysses and suggested focusing on enhancing existing resources instead.
