Welcome back to everyone who is attending, teaching, working, serving, transporting, feeding, supervising, or coaching (and more -ings I'm forgetting!) in area schools! Even if the feeling of fall was not already riding the edges of the wind in the morning, the yellow school buses would certainly tell me that autumn is approaching our doorstep. As always, I'm very appreciative of Trumansburg Central School District for opening up their buildings and fields for youth and adults to access physical education opportunities through our programming. Whether you have a kiddo who is looking to learn a new sport or an adult in your life would appreciate connecting with other adults in physical fitness activities, I encourage you to check out the offerings of the Trumansburg/Ulysses Recreation Program available here. Registering means you'll be among the first to learn about new programs and classes. The next regular meeting of the Ulysses Town Board will be on Tuesday, September 10th at 7pm in Town Hall. It's a busy agenda as we head into budget season, and you can keep track of this meeting and all of our upcoming Town meetings here.
