Power Outages possible from heavy wet snow and winds. Summary/Timing •Heavy, wet snow possible. •Potential for 6-12” of snow or more. •Elevation dependent snowfall expected. •Higher terrain areas could see more than 12 inches. •Valleys could see significantly less snowfall. •Timing: Monday late afternoon through Monday night/early Tuesday. •Strong east winds Monday afternoon and Monday night. Uncertainties •Placement of heavy wet snow and how much. •How much sleet mixes in which would cut down snow amounts a lot. •Best chance for sleet will be in much of Northeast PA , the Catskills and even as far as Binghamton to Oneonta and Cooperstown.
