REMINDER: Zoning Update - Public Information Meeting on 8/30 at 7:00

Hello Ulysses Residents,
Many of you know, the Town has been working to update its zoning since 2015 in order to bring it into compliance with the
goals of the Comprehensive Plan, the Ag & Farmland Protection plan, and several County plans. The next set of drafts of
all the revised zoning parts have been completed and they are ready for additional public input.
The Town and its consultants, Randall & West, has held 3 Open Houses and will hold a Public Information Meeting on the
proposed zoning on:
Thursday, August 30th – 7:00 - 9:00 pm , at the Trumansburg Fire Hall
At the Public Information Meeting, there will be a short presentation of each section of the proposed zoning with time
for questions and answers after. A comment period will follow with written comments due by September 30,
2018. Submit comments to the Town Clerk at clerk@ulysses.ny.us or mail them to Town Hall at 10 Elm St.
Trumansburg, NY 14886. Submitted comments will be considered by the Town Board during its deliberations.
In addition, before the Town Board passes the zoning into law, a formal Public Hearing will be held. Tentatively this
Public Hearing is scheduled for January 8, 2019 with adoption of the new zoning and zoning map targeted for
January 22, 2019.
