PRESENT: Supervisor John Kaminski, Deputy Supervisor Jereme Stiles, Town Council Members Eric Snow and Gary Pelton, Town

5:00 PM – SUPERVISOR KAMINSKI CALLED THE SPECIAL MEETING TO ORDER
LEGAL NOTICES: Legal Notices were posted in the Cortland Standard on May 12th, 2018 and May 14th, 2018 and the notices were
Posted at the Virgil Town Hall regarding the special meeting and the opening and awarding the bids for a lowboy trailer:
NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE VIRGIL TOWN BOARD: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The Virgil Town Board will hold a special
board meeting on May 21st, 2018 at 5:00 PM at the Virgil Town Hall, 1176 Church Street, Virgil NY 13045 to open bids and to
award the bid to the lowest bidder that meets specifications, on a Low Boy Trailer for the Virgil Highway Department. The
Virgil Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Legal Notice for the Town of Virgil, Notice of Accepting Bids for a used 35 Ton Lowboy Trailer The Town
of Virgil is accepting bids for a used lowboy trailer with the following specs. 1984 or newer, 35-ton lowboy trailer, with 22'
Flat Deck Length, 7’ Flat Deck over rear tires, 102’ wide, (16) D-Rings, Butterfly Style QD’s for wet line hoses, 27”X21” F lip
Down Ramps, NYSI, solid structurally sound trailer, No major rust, air brakes and must pass a DOT inspection. All bids must
be submitted to Town Clerk at 1176 Church Street, Virgil NY 13045, on or by May 18th before 2:30 P.M., will be opened at a
special meeting to be held on May 21st 5:00PM at town board meeting. The Virgil town board reserves the right to reject any

OPENING OF BIDS:
#1 TRACEY ROAD EQUIPMENT: Deputy Supervisor Stiles opened the only bid from Tracey’s Road Equipment.
RESOLUTION#18-058 AWARD THE BID TO ONLY BIDDER TRACEY ROAD EQUIPMENT: Member Stiles made a motion to accept the
bid from the lowest responsible bidder, Tracey Road Equipment in the amount of Pelton. Member $17,500.00 seconded the motion.
Vote: Ayes-Members Pelton, Snow, Stiles and Kaminski. Nays: None.
With no further business to discuss, Supervisor Kaminski asked for a motion to adjourn. Member Stiles moved to adjourn the
meeting at 5:10 P.M. Member Snow seconded the Motion. Vote: Ayes-Members Pelton, Snow, Stiles and Kaminski. Nays: None.
