TOWN OF VIRGIL SPECIAL MEETING
November 01st 2016
PRESENT: Supervisor John Kaminski, Board Members Eric Snow, Gary Pelton and Matthew Denniston and Town Clerk Alane Van
Donsel
5:00 PM – SUPERVISOR KAMINSKI CALLED THE SPECIAL MEETING TO ORDER
Supervisor Kaminski said that the sole purpose of this special meeting was to award the bid for two new furnaces for the olde r part
of the Town Hall. There was a legal notice posted in the Newspaper, as well as at the Town Hall. There was only one bid sub mitted.
Supervisor Kaminski said he did call a couple of companies to see if they were interested, but none of them submitted a bid. He said
that many of these companies are very busy this time of year.
RESOLUTION #16-092 AWARD THE BID FOR TWO NEW FURNACES AT THE VIRGIL TOWN HALL: Member Denniston made a motion
to accept the bid from Himes Plumbing, Heating and AC in the amount of $6,790.00for two new Temp Star 100 M Natural Gas
Furnaces including parts and labor. The price includes the removal of one or both furnaces, reconnecting the new furnaces to the
existing duct work for both warm and cold air. Also included is reconnecting gas lines, electric, exhaust and fresh air. Incl uded is
checking furnaces operation and testing them. Member Snow seconded the motion. Vote: Ayes: Members Pelton, Snow, Denniston
and Kaminski. NAYS: None
With no further business to discuss, Supervisor Kaminski asked for a motion to adjourn. Member Kaminski moved to adjourn the
meeting at 5:10 P.M. Member Denniston seconded the Motion. Vote: Ayes-Members Snow, Denniston, and Kaminski. Nays: None.
